The cost estimate assumes that the east leg would be totally <br />reconstructed to correct the sight distance deficiency. On the other legs of the intersection, the <br />estimate assumes the existing through lanes are preserved while the shoulders are cut away for <br />the roadway expansion. Each component of the cost estimate is presented in Table S below. In <br />addition to the roadway improvements, a cost estimate is included for providing storm sewer in <br />several sections and a future traffic signal. Based on the preliminary design, suflcient space <br />may not be available to provide for a proper drainage ditch. Both sides along the south leg of <br />Willow Drive and the south side of west leg of CSAH 6 may need storm sewer to properly <br />handle drainage around the intersection.
