»> <br />III03-2S96 <br />665 Nortb Ferndale Road <br />Pagcdefd <br />Staff recommends ^>proval of a temporary guest house CUP and lot area variance for same, subject <br />to the following conditions: <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />5. <br />The guest house shall be used and occupied by persons who would otherwise use the primary <br />residence on the property, such as domestic help, guests and relatives. <br />The guest house shall not be used as a rental unit and will not be used for a home occupation <br />except to the extent that such use may be allowed by City code. <br />The applicant shall, upon completion of the septic system serving the new house on the <br />property, connect the old house to said new system in a manner acceptable to the City, and <br />discontinue use of the existing septic system serving the guest house structure. <br />The guest house use shall be allowed only for a period of 24 months beginning with the date <br />of final Council approval of the CUP. At the end of the 24 month period the property owner <br />shall discontinue the guest house use and shall remove the structure no later than 30 days <br />after the end of the 24 month period. <br />The existing driveway connection directly to North Ferndale Road may be continued only <br />during the 24 month period for which the guest house use is allowed. Within 30 days after <br />the end of the 24 month period, the driveway connection to North Ferndale Road shall be <br />eliminated, and the driveways and entrance regraded to permanently eliminate direct vehicle <br />access to North Ferndale. <br />6.
