MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Tuesday, May 27,2003 <br />7:00 o’clock p.m. <br />CO'**— <br />JUN 9 2003 <br />CITY or ortwKiO <br />ROLL <br />The Council met on the above mentioned date with the following members present: Mayor Barbara <br />Peterson; Council Members Jim Murphy, Jim White, Jay Nygard, and Bob Sansevere; City Attorney <br />Thomas Barrett; Representing staff were City Administrator Ron Moorse, Planning Director Mike <br />Gaffron, City Engineer Tom Kellogg. Public Service Director Greg Gappa, and Recorder Kristi <br />Anderson. <br />Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. Approve/AmcBd <br />Sansevere added items ^11,12.13,14, IS, 17-26, and 27 A and B to the Consent Agenda. <br />Saasevere moved. White seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. VOTE: Aves 5, <br />Nays 0. <br />OATH OF OFFICE <br />There were none. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />*2. Special Council Meeting of May 6,2003 <br />Sansevere moved. White seconded, to approve the Minutes of the Special Connctl Meeting of May <br />6,2003 as presented. VOTE: Ayes 5, Na)? 0. <br />*3. Reconvened Board of Appeal and Equalization Meeting of May 13,2003 <br />Sansevere moved. White seconded, to approve the Board of Appeal and Eqnallzation Meeting <br />Minutes of May 6,2003 as presented. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />*4. Regular Council Meeting of May 12,2003 <br />Sansevere moved, W’hite seconded, to approve the Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of May <br />12,2003 as presented. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />PARK COMMISSION COMMENTS - Debora Halvorson <br />Halvorson had nothing new to repoit, however, would be available for questions. <br />Mayor Peterson stated that the Council had coinpleled ihe thice PaiV Commissioner interviews and would <br />be choosing two new appointees by June 9 v>on thereafter scheduling a joint work session. <br />PAGE 1 ofl 1 <br />f <br />i <br />J
