SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ORONO CITY COUNCIL <br />TUESDAY, MAY 6,2003 <br />ROLL <br />The Council met in a special meeting on the above-mentioned date with the following <br />members present: Mayor Barbara Peterson, Council Members Jim Murphy, Bob Sansevere <br />and Jim White. Representing staff were City Administrator Ron Moorse and Public Services <br />Director Greg <br />Council Member Jay Nygard was absent. <br />Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />1. Award of Bid - Navarre Fire Station Site Work <br />Murphy commented that the site plan needs to be amended to remove the ADA parking <br />space from the north side of the vehicle bay apron, and to get credit from the MCWD for <br />the reduced hardcover. <br />Murphy moved, and White seconded, to award the bid for the Navarre Fire Station <br />site work to F.F. Jedlicki, Inc., In the amount of $304,719.50, per the Boncstroo letter <br />dated May 0,2003. <br />Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />2. Declaration Regarding Covenants on the Navarre Fire Station Property to Meet <br />MCWD Permit Conditions <br />White moved, and Sansevere seconded, to adopt the Declaration attached to the <br />Request for Council Action dated May 5,2003 placing covenants on the Navarre Fire <br />Station property to preserve the wetland buffer areas and grassed swales, to sweep <br />all bituminous surfaces at least once per year, and to maintain the stormwater <br />management facilities on the site. <br />Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Sansevere moved, White seconded, to adjourn the Orono City Council Special <br />Meeting of May 0,2003 at 5:43 p.m. <br />VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />ATTEST: <br />Linda S.
