Gappa <br />Title Director of Public Services <br />Administrator Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />Public Services Director's Report <br />Item Description: Change Order #1, Nairarre Fire Station Site Improvements Project <br />We have reviewed the information submitted by the City's engineering firm and recommend <br />approval of this Change Order for an increase in the quantity of trees to be removed for this project, <br />llie project specifications require payment for tree re. '.oval per tree for trees that are over 4"in <br />diameter. The removal of trees that are 4" in diameter or less is incidental, 'fhis project is on an <br />accelerated schedule, and when the trees were originally counted the exact grading limits were not <br />established yet. The original contract was for removal of 65 trees at $300.00 each. This work is <br />included in Request for Payment ft 1 which has been submitted for approval at this Council meeting. <br />The contractor has agreed to a price of $250.00 per tree for removal of the additional 69 trees. <br />Removal of these trees is required. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve Change Order Number 1, Navarre Fire S Ui AM Site Improvements in the amount <br />of $17,250.00 <br />A.*' <br />V : * >. .. * ^ ^ ' <br />■'V* <br />i ^
