This new field •’ill be used by conununity <br />based )it>uth baseball and youth soccer organizations. Assuming the Qty Orono approves this <br />request, the Orono Baseball Association intends to commence construction of rhi< facility late May, <br />2003. Funding for the improvements contemplated is in place. An Amendment to the Ground Lease <br />with School Distria # 278 is in process and ^ be executed upon Qty approval of this request. The <br />field would be ready for pby during the 2004 seasotL <br />Enclosed in support of this application are the following items: <br />Conditional Ihe Permit application. <br />Orono Public Schools approval lener, dated July 12,2001 <br />Orono Qty Council Resolution # 4689 (File No. 01-2703) which approved the initial request <br />for Conditional Use Permit through September 10,2002. <br />Certified Property Owners List of all owners within 350 feet of this property. <br />Certificate of Survey/Legal Description. <br />• Conditional Lhe Permit Renewal Fee of S150.00. <br />• Three copies of large, to scale drawings, and tw-o 11 ” x 17 ” reductions of same. These <br />drawings are as follows: <br />- Sheet 1 - Title Sheet dated 5/17/02 <br />- Sheet 2 - Existing Conditions and Removal Plan dated 5/17/02 <br />- Sheet 3 - La)out and Fencing Plan dated 10/23/02 <br />- Sheet 4 - Erosion Control, Grading, and Drairuge Plan dated 10/23/02 <br />- Sheet 5 - Paving, Reference and Landscape Plan dated 5/17/02 <br />- Sheet 6 - Site Details dated 5/17/02 <br />- Sheet 7 - Site Details dated 5/17/02 <br />Note that I have had several conversations with Mike Wyatt at the Minnehaha Qeek Watershed <br />District. MCWD Permit # 02-058 is complete pending execution of a Declaration and Stormwater <br />Facility Maintenance Agreement by Independent School Distrkt No. 278. This document will be <br />e.xecuted and recorded upon (council approval of the Conditional Use Pennit. A copy of the <br />Declaration and Stormwater Facility NIaintenance Agreement is attached hereto. <br />.3
