REPORT DATE: July 29, 199 3________ <br />The City of Orono has Rejected___________yoy,. on-site system design as of August 12, 1993 <br />(approved-disapproved) (date) <br />with tlie following comments:_The proposed arainfield sites are located on sites <br />with slopes greater than 6% (IQSj - 12%) where lesser slopes are present <br />elsewhere on the lot. Also, the drainfield sites located on the site <br />plan are not the proper dimensions and would not meet setback requirements <br />Ap<™Unu.st <br />be issued to a licensed septic contractor prior to installation. A list of currently licensed septic contractors is <br />enclosed. <br />NOTICE TO INSTALLERS: Any changes to the approved plans and specs must have prior approval of the <br />Inspector (473-7357). Call for inspections 24 hours in advance. <br />ALL DRAINFIELD AREAS MUST BE FENCED OFF prior to building site excavation and fencing must remain <br />in place until final site grading. Approval to pour footings will not be granted until the Iirspections Department <br />has verified that primary and alternate sites are adequately protected. <br />NO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC OF ANY KIND (cars, trucks, earth moving equipment, etc.) is allowed within 20’ <br />of tested drainfield sites either before or after system construction.
