June 22, 1970
Mr. Donald Kecsling
1290 Arbor Street
Box 113
Crystal Bay, Minnesota
Dear Mr. Keesling:
55323
I have been aware for some time you have septic problems,
hoping it was a problem that would resolve itself when the
warmer weather came. The way the area is saturated, I
question that it will resolve itself without repair i^rork.
I know you worked hard to get municipal sewer, and I an
sympathetic with your situation; however, I cannot ii good
conscience go out in the field and order repairs, when I have
a situation that I can see out of my office v;indow.
I talked to Allan Peterson about your problem--only trying to
be helpful, and being aware that he does your service x^ork.
I was of the opinion that a largo leaching pit where the
present ttHoed-out takes place would help--but he is of the
opinion ^he entire area is too saturated to do any good, and
that a line should be tnkon south even if it had to be lifted
to get aeration.
I v/ould gladly meet v/ith you and x^hoever you might want to
do the work, and try to resolve the problem at as small a
cost nsāpossible witli the hope that sewer will not be to far
away in the ftiture.
Sincerely yours.
Mike Scheller
INSPECTION DEIWRT?.fENT
