A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO <br />RICK MEYERS <br />FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE <br />AS A MEMBER OF THE <br />PARKS, OPEN SPACE, AND TRAILS COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />WHEREAS, Rick Meysrs has served this community with distinction during <br />his four years as a member of the Parks, Open Space, and Trails Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, his years ofservice have been marked by exemplary dedication <br />to the best interests of the community; and <br />WHEREAS, he has earned the admiration and high regard of those with <br />whom he has worked; and <br />WHEREAS, the performance of his duties and responsibilities as a member <br />of the Parks, Open Space, and Trails Commission has been characterized by excellent <br />and constructive contributions to the community. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the <br />City ofOrono does hereby express its sincere appreciation and thanks to Rick Meyers <br />for his distinguished service to the community and does also highly commend him <br />for the manner in which he has carried out his duties and responsibilities. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council extends to him best <br />wishes for continued success in his future endeavors. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held <br />this 14th day of April, 2003. <br />ATTEST: <br />Linda S.
