Notice of Hearing on Proposed Assessment Notice is hereby given that the Orono City Council will hold an assessment hearing on March 24, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. in the Orono Council Chambers, 2780 Kelley Parkway to consider and pass upon the proposed assessment for the North Arm Lane pavement project improvements. The following is the area to be assessed. The following properties in Hennepin County Minnesota: 06-117-23-24-0001 06-117-23-24-0008 06-117-23-24-0011 06-117-23-24-0012 06-117-23-24-0013 06-117-23-24-0014 06-117-23-24-0015 215 North Arm Lane 370 North Arm l.ane 366 North Arm Lane 360 North Arm Lane 340 North Arm Lane 350 North Arm Lane 345 North Arm Lane The propo.scd assessment roll is on file f >r public inspection at the City Clerk's office. The total amount of the proposed assessment is $16,000. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments, the first year of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January 2004 and shall bear interest at the rate of 6.25 percent per annum from the date of the adoption of the assessment resolution. Written or oral objections w ill be considered at the meeting. No appeal may be taken as to the amount of an assessment unless a signed written objection is filed with the clerk prior to the hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the hearing, fhe Council may upon such notice consider any objection to the amount of a proposed individual assessment at an adjourned meeting upon such further notice to the affected property owners as it deems advisable. If an assessment is contested or there is an adjourned hearing, the following procedure will be followed: 1.
