Approval of af\cr-thc-fact lakeshorc setback, average setback and 0-75 ’ hardcover
variances for constmetion of a 4.5'xl2 ’ (54 sO attached deck on the west side of the residence;
2. Approval of a 0-75 ’ hardcover variance for a proposed 20’x20' gravel parking area on the
cast lakeshorc side of the property.
Planning Commission Recommendation
On Februarv' 19 Planning Commission voted 4-2 to recommends as follows:
1) Approval of 4.5 ’x 12’ deck on west side of house.
2) Approval of a walkway between house and garage not to exceed 4’ in width.
3) Approval of gravel parking area per staff recommendations indicated in memo dated 2-13-03.
It was noted by applicant at the Planning Commission meeting that the proposal submitted for a
12’x24' deck bcl\y ecn the house and garage was incorrect, a result of miscommunication between
applicant and his designer. The actual proposal is for a widened walkway between the garage and
the house, much smaller than that shown on the submittal. Planning Commission concluded a 4'
walkway would be suflicient given the large deck already existing above the garage.
