Collaboration offers new <br />opportunities to improve services by avoiding <br />waste and duplication of efforts. Activities <br />involved in achieving better services include; <br />• Conducting city-wide reviews of areas where <br />collaboration could improve the delivery of <br />services. <br />• Working with the planning commission and <br />city staff to develop complementary, cross- <br />jurisdictional land use pLins. <br />• Continuing and expanding the collaboration of <br />South Lake Minnetonka public works <br />departments and public safety districts. <br />• Exploring new ideas such as a South Lake <br />Minnetonka transit service and a new librar>-. <br />^mott comnuKiiy'eHluuuUtj redet/tU^sMtd <br />From downtown Excelsior to neighborhood <br />commercial areas, business development has a <br />big impact on our quality of life.
