Suffbelieves that opening up the possibility of large trucks being stored on 2-acrc <br />lots w ill become more problematic for our neighborhoods as time goes by. Tlic 5 -acre lot size mmimum <br />provides some assurance that a neigliborhood of 2-acrc lots won’t be invaded by dump trucks. It also <br />increases tlie likelihood that separation and screening from adjoining properties will be feasible. <br />Tlic conditions currently in the Code for storage of a vehicle o> cr 14,(X)0 lbs. GVW aie as follows: <br />a. Minimum lot size of 5 acres <br />b. Property owner must be vehicle owner.. o*/c.w. *r <br />c. Vehicle must be set back 50 feet <br />d. NTust not be visible fiorn neighbonng properties and public streets, vegetatix c scaxrang is preferred. <br />e. Maintcn.ir.ee of said vehicle shall occur w ithin an enclosed building <br />f. The vehicle shall not constitute a nuisance at any lime. <br />(Note: "Public Nuisance" is defined in the Municipal Code. Section 70-4, as follows: <br />I .Maintaining or permitting a condition which unreasonably annoys, injures or <br />endangers the safew. health, morals, comfort or repose of any considerable number <br />of members of the public. <br />2. Interfering with, obstrucling or rendering dangerous for passage any street, public <br />right-of-way or waters used by the public; or <br />3.
