INC. <br />1776 Canterbury Road <br />ShakopeeMN 5S379 <br />(952)445-1611 <br />(612) 366-5566 <br />A <br />November 8,2004 <br />Dear Council Members and Department of Natural <br />Resources Officials, <br />Eric Vogstrom hired Hawkins Tree & Landscaping, Inc. <br />for clearing his lot for construction of a new house. <br />While doing this I observed large groupings of Dutch <br />Elm diseased trees down by the lake, which my pictures <br />will indicate. In discussing these trees with Eric, I told <br />him they were in unstable condition and could not be <br />climbed and they had to be dropped. We also <br />discussed the fact that they may damage other trees in <br />the process. I didn't realized that I was In Department of <br />Natural Resources territory. <br />I am sorry that this matter happened but I will ¥vork with <br />the Department of Natural Resources to restore the area. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Mike Havrkine^^ / <
