Bt2-28 to 38 inches; yellowish browm (lOYR 5'4) loam.; moderate fine and medium prismatic structure parting to moderate fine and medium angular blocky; firm, many distinct dark yellowish brown (lOYR 4/4) clay films on faces of peds, about 5 percent coarse fragments; few prominent black clayey fillings in root channels; strongly acid; clear wavy boundary Bt3—38 to 43 inches; yellowish brovsn (lOYR 5/4) loam; few fine prominent reddish brown mottles; moderate fine and medium prismatic structure; friable; few distinct dark yellowish brown (lOYR 3/4) clay films on faces of peds; about 5 percent course fragments; slightly acid; abrupt wavy boundary', (Combined thickness of Bl horizons is 12 to 30 inches) C~43 to 60 inches, light clive brown (2 5Y 5'4) loam; few fine faint grayish brown (2.5Y 5/2) and light olive brown (2.5Y 5/6) mortles, massive, friable; and 5 percent coarse fragments; slight effervescence, mildly alkaline.
