Personal and eccncm,c <br />situations are not considered va^id hardshias. In order for an app’ication to be hea^d by <br />the Planning Commission and City Council a ha-cship having merit m.ust be <br />demonstrated <br />HOW DO I PROVE A HARDSHIP? <br />This form has 12 points outlining the basts C'ty staff uses to determine if a hardshp <br />exists and how the variance will affect the surround.ng cemmunity. To prove a hardship, <br />address all the relevant pomts listed belov/ and answer them as e’eariy as possib'e <br />Since you are request ng the code exception, you have the burden of proving that the <br />variance is justified.
