EXHIBIT C <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br />TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 78-282,78-1288 (B) AND <br />SECTION 78-1279 (6) <br />HLE NO. 04-2969 <br />WHEREAS. Teny J. Blount and Greichcn M Blount, husband and vwfe. <br />(hcrcmafier "the apphcanis") are the owners of the property located at 1390 Cherry Place <br />within the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and legally desenbed as follows <br />That part of Government Lots 4 and 5, Section 8. Township 117 North. Range 23 <br />West of the 5*** Principal Meridian, desenbed as follows; Beginning at the <br />Southwest comer of Lot 7, Block 11. Saga Hill Rivised; thence East along the <br />South line of said Lot 7 to the shore of North Am. Lake Minnetonka; thence <br />southerly along the shoie of Lake Minnetonka 57.0 feet, more or less to the <br />Northeast comer of Lot I. Block 4. "Crystal Bay View"; thence West along the <br />North line of said Lot 1 to the Northwest comer of said Lot 1; thence northerly to <br />the place of beginning; AND ALSO Lot 7, Block 11. Saga Hill Revised. <br />(hereinafter the "property”), and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Or'nn <br />for variances to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Sections 78-282.78-I2S8 (B) and Section <br />73-1279 (6) to allow reconstniction of an existing rotted deck in a slightly different <br />locauon in conjunction with an inlenor remodel; such deck encroaching four fee: past the <br />average setback line, and resulting in hardcover in excess of the 25% normally allowed in <br />the 75’-250‘ zone. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE <br />Orono.
