City staff shall monitor use of the Woodhill Avenue access during its first season of <br />operation and shall report to the Council any pcoblems or concerns that arc encountered <br />The City may penodically meter the amount of tnflic using the Woodhill Avenue access.” <br />The applicants wish to eliminate the requirement for further monitoring, i.e. they propose that <br />Condition 5 be deleted in its entirety. <br />Condition 7 of Resolution 4305 required the Club to make certain improvements regarding the access, as <br />follows: <br />”7. TIicGub shall make or be responsible forthe following improvements in conjunction with <br />its constniction of Uic Woodhill Avenue access, and these improvonents shall be completed <br />before the access is opened: <br />A. Installation ofeastbound and noitlibound stop signs at Uie intersection of the public <br />ponionsuf Woodhill Avenue and Uie pnvate road serving the Woodhill Ridge <br />development (Sec Exhibit B). <br />B. Installation of eastbound " 10 MPH" speed lunit signon the pnvate access drive at <br />the Club's west property line. <br />C. Installation of westbound "Do Not Enter" signage at Uic Club's intenor dn veway <br />near tlie maintenance building, and at a location on Woodlull Avatue approxunatcly <br />20 feet west of the Club's west property line. <br />D. Installation ofat least two sets of spa'd humps along Woodhill A\’cnuc at locations <br />approved by the City Engineer. <br />E. Pavingof the Woodhill Avenue access fron the eastern end of thccurrently paved <br />roadway to the Club p.-opcrly line <br />F. Removal of vegetation within th c right-of-way of Woodhill Avenue or Orono <br />Ordiard Road that may impede adequate sight distance, as requested by the Pi hlic <br />Services Director sidiject to notification of the property owner abutting tl.e <br />vegetation to be removed. <br />G. Installation of stormwater facilities and other constniction per Coffin & Gronbcrg <br />cngjneeringplaD dated April23,1999 subject to provisionof any othainfonnation <br />requested by the City Engmea per his letter dated April 30.1999.”
