A tributohr of Pa ’nter Creek bisects the wetland. McCuHev <br />Road IS located at the south end of the wetland. Approximately 85 <br />percent of the wetland is a wet meadow ana 15 percent s a low'a.^c <br />swamp. The wet meadow is dominated by reed cenary aro' <br />with patches of willow located in the middle. The lowland hardwood <br />swamp is dominated by willow and cottonwood. <br />^0 Painter Oeek tributary hes been ditched through the wetland. A <br />lateral ditch connects with the Pointer Creek tributary. These ditches <br />have portlolly drained the wetland end cenhbuted to the dearcdeH <br />condition of the basin. cegrecea <br />Restoration Objectives and Proposed Construction <br />This site is high profile due to its location adjacent to the luce Une Trail <br />and within land publicly owned by the Cty. The goals for wetland <br />restoration will include the following: <br />• Control runoff rotes to Painter Creek <br />• Enhance the Painter Creek wildlife corridor <br />Steps in the proposed wetJartd restoration include the following: <br />1.
