Council deliberation <br />City Review <br />The City’s authority and concern in its review of the liquor license appliratioa is the pro’xctioa <br />of the public health, safety and welfare. The City’s review of the application has addressed this <br />concern in iw-o ways. One is through a background investigaiicr of the applicant for the liquor <br />license. The second is through a review of the impacts ca the area properties of granting the oo- <br />salc liquor license. <br />The Police Department has conducted a background mvrstigaticn of the applicant.
