The application consists of <br />(he following: <br />^ A hardcover variance for 21.18*:^ hardcover within 75* of the OHWL where 0*^ is <br />allowed and 21.61% currently exists. The applicant is proposing to remove 52 s.f. of <br />hardcover in the 0-75* setback zone w hich equates to 0.43% hardcover for this zone. <br />Staff Recommendation: Planning Department staff recommends approv al of the <br />hardcover variance to reduce the hardcover wuhin the 0-75* setback zone by 52 sf.. <br />Pertinent Zoning Ordinance Sections <br />Sec. 78-1288. Hard cover Iimiiaiions. <br />(a) No hard cover or impervious surface shall be placed, located or <br />constructed within 75 feet of the ordinary high water level of any lake or tnbutarv', except <br />for stairways, lifts, landings and lockboxes as regulated elsewhere in this Code. <br />(b) Between 75 feet and 250 feet of the OHWL. there shall be no greater than <br />25 percent hard cover. Between 250 feet and 500 feet of the OH\M. there shall be no <br />greater than 30 percent hardcover.
