However, if the City <br />could pay the incremental costs of having the ponding created as the home is built, this may be a <br />suitable alternative for consideration. The applicant has indicated he would prefer to not grant the <br />easement not be required to construct any ponding. He did question whether it might be feasible to <br />construct a pond in exchange for the ability to fill a portion of the wetland to provide additional <br />house site flexibility; however, he is apparently not pursuing this. <br />Staff RccommendatioD <br />Approval of the wetland map amendment and the lot area variance per the attached Ordinance and <br />Resolution.
