A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br />TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 78-420 SUBDIVISION B <br />FILE NO. 04-3050 <br />WHEREAS, Michael P. McClelland and Jcanie L. McClelland, husband <br />and wife (hereinafter “the applicants") arc the owners of the property located at 2170 <br />Minnetonka Avenue withiti the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and legally <br />described as follows: <br />Lots 4. 5, and 6, Block 8, Monterey on Minnetonka EXCEPT the North 12.00 feet <br />of said Lots 4, 5, and 6, Hennepin County, Minnesota <br />(hereinafter the “property”); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono <br />for variances to Otono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-420 Subdivision B for the <br />construction of a new single family residence on a lot 0.56 acre in area and 175’ in width <br />where 2 acres in area and 200’ in width arc normally required. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />Orono, Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. <br />■) <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File ##04-3050. <br />The property is located in the RR-IB, One Family Rural Residential <br />Zoning District which requires a minimum lot area of 2 acres and a <br />minimum lot width of 200’. <br />3.The Planning Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing <br />held on September 20, 2004 and recommended approval of variances <br />based on the following findings: <br />a.
