i <br />September 17,2004 <br />Sgt. Kurt EricksoD, <br />1 regret to inform you that 1 have accepted a fiiU time job outside of law enforcement. I <br />begin the job immediately. The last day I will be available for work at OPD is October 3, <br />2004. <br />1 do want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with the Orono Police <br />Department. It has been a wonderful place to work. I have learned so much from the <br />ofGcers I worked with and supervisors that I have worked with. Please understand that <br />this was a hard decision to m^e to leave Orono Police. 1 am still aspiring to become a <br />police ofiDcer in the future, and know that Orono Police will be the first department I <br />think of when 1 complete school. <br />Again, thank you for the opportunity to work with the Orono Police Department. 1 will <br />greatly miss the job. <br />ITiank.s again. <br />7= <br />Joseph P.
