An average lakeshore setback variance and a 75’- 250 ’ zone hardcover variance in <br />order to replace an existing 13’ x 24 ’deck on the lake (east) side of their home; and <br />2. A 75 ‘ - 250 ’ zone hardcover variance in order to construct a 2-stall garage over <br />existing hardcover (driveway) and to construct a covered entrance over existing <br />hardcover (grade-level porch); and <br />3. A Side setback variance in order to construct a 2-stall garage 10’ from the side lot line <br />where a 30 ’ setback is required and a 9.9’ setback is existing.___________________ <br />Planning Commission Rcconimciidation <br />On August 16. 2004, Planning Commission voted 6-0 to recommend approval of the a\erage <br />lakeshore setback and side setback variances. Additionally, the Planning Commission voted 6-0 <br />to recommend denial of the hardcover variance and requested the applicant reduce the 75’ - 250 ’ <br />zone hardcover to 25% or 4,908 s.f. The applicant has agreed to reduce the 75’ - 250 ’ zone <br />hardcover to be in conformance with the 25% requirement. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Approval per the attached Resolution. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Adopt or lunend the attached resolution. <br />1
