(*see Hardcover Variance section for more details.) <br />Most recently the current owner began a project to repair rotted decking in order to assure <br />the safety of the structure. As the repairs progressed it was apparent that the “repair” of <br />the existing deck was resulting in a total replacement. It was at that time that the <br />contractor was notified by Bruce Vang, Orono Building Inspector, a permit would be <br />required.
