m <br />I <br />reflect the participation by that member for less than one full year. The decision of the Board shall <br />be final. <br />12.3. Each Governmental Unit, upon ninety (90) days’ written notice to all member agencies, may <br />withdraw and cancel its participation in this Agreement. The members by mutual written consent <br />may abolish this Agreement at any time. <br />13. <br />13.1 <br />State and Local Assistance for Narcotics Control Program. <br />A member agency, acting on behalf of the West Metro Drug Task Force and its members, <br />may apply for Federal, state, or local narcotics enforcement grants. The member agency <br />shall be the “authorized official”, as defined in the general policies and procedures for the <br />program. <br />14. Media <br />14.1 Media coverage of Task Force activities, including the dissemination of all press releases <br />must reference each Task Force member agency, and shall be coordinated through the HCSO Public <br />Information Officer or designee. <br />15. Evidence <br />15.1 Except for seized motor vehicles, all cvidcncc/property seized by licensed Task Force <br />personnel, while acting within the scope of this Agreement, shall be inventoried and stored <br />temporarily at a secure, designated area within the designated law enforcement center that is under <br />the exclusive control of active agents/officers/deputies of the Task Force. Such inventoried <br />evidence/property shall be subject to subsequent transfer to the HCSO Crime Lab Property Room <br />for safekeeping pending lawful release or to another facility at the discretion of the Task Force <br />Supervisor. Seized motor vehicles shall be stored in an impound area designated by the Hennepin <br />County Sheriff until lawfully released. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned Governmental Units, by action of their governing <br />bodies, have caused this Agreement to be executed in accordance with the authority of Minnesota <br />Statutes §471.59.
