I <br />medical and hospital care, sick and vacation leave, severance pay, PERA or any other right or <br />benefit of another participating Government Unit. <br />6.11 Participating Government Units acknowledge that it is their sole responsibility to provide all <br />salary compensation and fringe benefits to employees. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, <br />health care, disability insurance, life insurance, re-employment insurance. PICA, Medicare, and <br />PERA. <br />7. Indemniflcation and Insurance <br />7.1 a. The Task Force will maintain liability insurance coverage for the activities of the <br />Task Force. The Task Force agrees to defend and indemnify the Cities of Medina, Mound and <br />Orono; West Hennepin Department of Public Safety; and Hennepin County for any liability claims <br />arising from the Task Force’s activities. <br />b. All insurance policies and certificates shall be open to inspection by each <br />Governmental Unit and copies of the policies or certificates shall be submitted to a Governmental <br />Unit upon written request. <br />8. Finances <br />8.1 The Hennepin County Sheriffs Office, through its Accounting Division, shall serve as sole <br />administrator of all funds contributed by Task Force member agencies and in such capacity is <br />authorized to receive all funds for deposit and make disbursements therefrom in accordance with <br />standard Hennepin County practice and procedure. In conjunction therewith, the Hennepin County <br />Sheriffs Office Accounting Division shall maintain current and accurate records of all obligations <br />and expenditures of Task Force funds pursuant to generally accepted accounting principles. It shall <br />also produce a quarterly financial report which shall be disseminated to the Task Force Supervisor <br />and all member agency heads. Such reports and related records shall be maintained by the <br />Hennepin County Sheriffs Office Accounting Division for a period of three (3) years after <br />termination of the Task Force. <br />8.2 The Board shall approve an annual operating budget for the Task Force. The Board may <br />amend the budget as necessary. <br />8.3 The Task Force’s funds may be expended by the Board in accordance with thi^ Agreement <br />in a manner determined by the Board. In no event shall there be an expenditure of Task
