Gappa <br />Title Director of Public Services <br />Admioistrator Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />Public Services Director's Report <br />Item Description: Award Contract for CR6/ Baseball Field Trail Project <br />We have advertised and received bids for this project which is to construct an 8 ’ wide <br />bituminous pedestrian and bicycle trail along the south side of County Road 6 across the Lee <br />Carlson Baseball Fields property to complete the trail link between Old Crystal Bay Road and <br />Willow Drive. This trail follows the northern side of the baseball fields access road and then <br />parallels County Road 6 on the north side of the Helds. Trail plans and a bid tabulation arc <br />attached for your information <br />This trail will be financed using 50% Municipal State Aid Funds and 50% Hennepin County <br />funding. The trail costs will be financed through the Municipal State Aid Fund and then <br />reimbursement of 50% of the costs will be received from Hennepin County upon project <br />completion. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to award the contract for construction of the CR6/ Baseball Field Trail to DMJ Corporation, <br />Medina Minnesota in the amount $59,802.70 to be funded from the 2004 Municipal State Aid Fund <br />Budget with approval of a budget adjustment to reflect this expeuditurc.
