A <br />minimum of two acres of open pasture <br />must be available for a single horse, and <br />one additional acre must be available for <br />each additional horse. When the horses <br />are kept stabled and do not require pas­ <br />ture for feed purposes, the minimum pas­ <br />ture requirement may be adjusted at the <br />discretion of the council. Such minimum <br />pasture acreage shall not include low- <br />lying lands unusable for pasture or graz­ <br />ing. Any person keeping such animals <br />must comply with the provisions of this <br />Code. <br />(10) Stables and bams, private The use of an <br />accessory building for keeping animals for <br />noncommercial purposes, provided it is <br />for the norxommercial use of the property <br />owner or resident and meets the available <br />area standards outlined in subsection (9) <br />of this section.
