The Council confirmed the Planning <br />Commissions recommendation to deny the variance request to allow the existing <br />boathouse to remain during a rebuild. The Council indicated support to amend the <br />existing application to include a conditional use permit to conduct land alternations <br />within the 0-75’ lake setback zone so that the existing slope can be restored. The Council <br />also indicated acceptance with the details of the staff recommendation that appeared in <br />the Council Memo dated April 22,2004, which was previously mailed to you. <br />The application will be referred back to the Planning Commission for review of the <br />conditional use permit request at the May 17, 2004 meeting, subject to submittal and <br />review of a bank restoration/protection plan acceptable to City staff. <br />If you desire certified copies of the official Council minutes, they are available from the <br />City Clerk after review and approval by the City Council. <br />C <br />1 <br />: I
