PASTOR <br />PHONE 471-0433 <br />December 17.2003 <br />APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE ROOF <br />ON THE 1959 SECTION OF THE CHURCH <br />Our request is to replace the roof on the original (1959) portion of our Good <br />Shepherd Lutheran Church building. The existing structure has a flat roo^ and our <br />request is to r^Iace it with a pitched roof over the flat roof We will be installing <br />engineered attic trusses. At this time, our proposal is to ingtaii 6/12 trusses. <br />Once our contractor, Joe Nastepniak of JMN BuUders, has the drawings of the <br />engineered trusses, he will meet with Janice and describe in detail the construction <br />plan for the proposed project and review with her the height restrictions. <br />The height elevation from the ground to the current flat roof is 21 feet. The hoigh* <br />with the gabled or pitched roof will be 31 feet, or an increase of 10 feet on that <br />portion of the building. Currently, the newer (1971 addition) portion of the <br />budding has towers which are 20 to 25 feet higher than the existing flat roof on the <br />original budding, or which would stdl be 10 to 15 feet higher than the height of the <br />proposed pitched roof <br />Tha^ you fo^our consideration of our application. <br />A <br />Lorart).
