Restoration Objectives and Construction Proposed <br />This site is high profile due to its location adjacent to the Luce Line Trail <br />and within land publicly owned by the City. The goals for wetland <br />restoration will include the following: <br />• Control runoff rates to Painter Creek <br />• Restore native diversity of wetland vegetation, including wet meadow <br />and emergent marsh plant communities <br />■ Enhance the wildlife and aesthetic viewing of the wetland for the <br />public using the Luce Line Trail <br />» Enhance the Painter Creek wildlife corridor <br />Steps in the proposed wetland restoration include the following: <br />1. Complete two controlled bums of the wetland site to aid in <br />controlling the reed canary gross and cattail. Provide a spot <br />i.eotment of herbicide to further control reed canary grass. <br />2. Plant a diverse mix of wet meadow grasses and forbs in the wet <br />meadow. <br />3.
