The applicant also requests a <br />variance in order to exceed the maximum size allowed for a single accessory structure by 300 <br />s.f for the proposed pole bam. <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />On January 20,2004, Planning Commission voted S-1 to recommend approval of the variance and <br />conditional use permit to allow the proposed 1,500 s.f. structure on a through lot. The following <br />stipulations were enumerated: <br />• the new 1,500 s.f. bam must meet all setbacks, <br />• the vegetative screening be maintained from views off of Wear Circle, and <br />• no access for the proposed bam will be granted off of Wear Circle <br />The dissenting Commissioner felt there was no hardship supporting the variance to exceed the <br />maximum size requirement. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Approval per the attached Resolution. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Adopt or amend the attached resolution.
