ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING ^ <br />MONDAY, JANUARY 13,2003 r/^. <br />ROLL JAN 2 7 2003 <br />' CITY Or unOoijj <br />The Council met on the above-mentioned date with the following rn’embers present: Mayor <br />Barbara Peterson, Council Members Bob Sanseverc, Jay Nygard, Jim White, and Jim <br />Murphy. Representing staff were City Administrator Ron Moorse, Planning Director Mike <br />Gaf^n, City Attorney Tom Barrett, City Engineer Tom Kellogg, Public Services Director <br />Greg Gappa, and Recorder Alissa Wintemheimer. <br />Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Jim White arrived at 7:04 p.m., aAcr <br />the Consent Agenda motion. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />I. Approve/Amend <br />Items 5,6,8,9,10, II, 13,14, 15,16,17,18,19,20, and 21 were added to the Consent <br />Agenda. <br />Murphy moved, and Sansevere seconded, to approve the consent agenda as amended. <br />Vote; Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />*2. Regular Council meeting of December 9,2002 <br />Murphy moved, and Sansevere seconded, to approve the Minutes of the Regular <br />Council Meeting of December 9,2002. <br />Vote; Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />APPEAL <br />3. Appeal of Narrows Saloon Liquor Violation Penalty Fee <br />Mr. Anderst was not present so Item 3 appears after Item 20. <br />PROCLAMATION <br />4. Appreciation to Gabriel Jabbour <br />Mayor Peterson asked Mr. Jabbour if he had anything to report to Council, as he had been <br />asked to attend the meeting to deliver a report. He stated that the City is doing a <br />phenomenal job, that Orono is almost out of debt and in excellent condition.
