Adopt Final 2003 Levy Collectible In 2004—Resolution No. 5086 <br />Murphy moved, and Snasevere seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 5086 adopting the <br />Final 2003 Tax Levy Collectible in 2004. <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />B. Adopt 2004 General Fund Budget —Resolution No. 5087 <br />White moved, and McMillan seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 5087 adopting the <br />2004 General Fund Budget <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />C. Adopt the 2004 Special Revenue Funds Budgets —Resolution No. 5088 <br />Mayor Peterson moved, and Murphy seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 5088 <br />adopting the 2004 Special Revenue Funds Budgets. <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />PARK COMMISSION COM.MENTS—DREW MCDERMOTT, <br />REPRESENTATIVE <br />McDermott stated that no one had been found to run the Dakota Rail as a train service, so <br />they were abandoning the project and hopefully turning it into a recreation trail. He noted <br />that Mound and Spring Park were passing resolutions in support of the trail, and Moorse <br />had commented in the newspaper in favor of the trail. He hoped Orono would also pass a <br />resolution. <br />He stated the Parks Commission did not have a December meeting, so there was no new <br />business. <br />White asked if it was necessary to pass another resolution in favor of the trail when they <br />had already passed several in the past. Moorse replied it would be helpful to reiterate their <br />position in support of the recreation trail. <br />Murphy stated that the trail issue had gone on so long, that many parties had changed on <br />city councils and the county board, so he agreed that it was necessary to re-state their <br />position. <br />I
