The <br />pond is not located within a designated wetland. The purpose of the <br />pond ie both decorative and functional. The pond is not designed to <br />encourage a wildlife habitat. The mail, purpose is to provide <br />additional retention area for surface runoff and ground water buildup. <br />The banks that are to be installed are 3 to 1 slope to encourage the <br />return of vegetation and fencing is to be installed adjacent to pond <br />area to prevent horses from interfering with principal function of <br />pond. <br />Staff recommends approval based on the findings and conditions <br />set forth in Resolution #2629, Exhibit K.
