Brown Road <br />Orono, MN 55391 <br />Dear Alan: <br />This letter is an attempt to respond to the recent <br />questionnaire on a sewer project affecting the <br />Minnetonka Bluffs and Orono Lane areas. It is addressed <br />to you in view of our recent discussions on the matter <br />at your office and, subsequently, by telephone. <br />We are in favor of a municipal sewer project to serve our <br />residence ar 1385 Fox Street, but our approval of the <br />project follows the lines of our discussion in your <br />office. As you know, our total lot size is approximately <br />3 2/3 acres. It is divided with a portion of that area <br />lying generally south of County Read 15 and running down <br />to the lake with this area being a non-buildable lot site. <br />The major portion of our lot lies in a triangular piece <br />north of County Road 15 and is bounded by County Road 15 <br />on the south and east, Orono Orchard Road on the west and <br />Fox Street on the north. We understand that this <br />triangular portion is approximately three acres. <br />V7e understand that the present sewer proposal for the <br />Minnetonka Bluffs area lying directly to the north of our <br />lot envisions a pximping station to be placed on our main <br />lot for which the Village is requesting a consideration <br />free easement of approximately 85' x 50'. We estimate <br />that our residence lies approximately 200 feet west of the <br />proposed piomping station and easement site. As you know, <br />we have proposed that our residence be included as a unit <br />in the. proposed Minnetonka Bluffs area sewer project and <br />this would require that our hookup would run the approximate <br />200 feet from the house to the pumping station site. <br />Because of this private connection distance, we have <br />mm <br />m^m. <br />•V -2^ i *! * »! •
