That your Affiant is a friend of Richard Hollander, having <br />known him for almost 25 years. <br />2. That this Affidavit is prepared for the solo purpose of <br />setting forth my first-hand knowledge of the deck and gazebo <br />by the lakeshore at Mr. Hollander's house at 680 North Arm <br />Drive. <br />3. I have been out to Rich's house on many occasions over the <br />years, and have seen many changes and improvements to the <br />property. It is sometimes difficult to remember specific <br />years when improvements were made, but I do know that the deck <br />and gazebo have been there for well over ten years. <br />4. Specifically, I have a fond memory of spending some time down <br />on the deck in the summer of 1982. Rich was having a party. <br />after the rebuilding of his house because of the fire damage. <br />I was attending with my future wife and left the party to <br />wander down to the deck and sit in the gazebo. <br />5. At that time, I was aware that the deck and gazebo had been <br />there for some time. It was not new construction that year. <br />but had been built before. <br />- 1 - <br />4 <br />A
