Lake Minnetonka <br />Purpose: Alteration of the floodplain to modity an existing drainageway. <br />Dear Mr. Madge: <br />At the regularly scheduled June 18. 1992 meeting of the Board of Managers, the subject permit <br />application was reviewed. Action was taken allowing the District staff to issue your permit only <br />alter receipt and staff approval of the following: <br />Revised site plan specifying a minimum size of Class 3 rip rap for the approximately 160 <br />lineal feet of drainage swale at a 5 percent slope. . , , . , <br />Revised site plan specifying length of rip rap, erosion comrol placed across the swale, <br />including an erosion control installation detail and identifying all areas of fill and excavation <br />below the projected lOO-year frequency flood elevation of Lake Minnetonka of 931.^ <br />including existing and proposed elevations. . ^ ■ <br />Volume calculations for all fill and excavation below elevauon 931.5 demonstraung no net <br />decrease in flood storage capacity. j • <br />Cross sections of the existing channel including locations of proposed rip rap <br />demonstrating that the project will not encroach on the navigational capacity of the chimnel. <br />Written permission from the applicant's neighbor for work to be performed off the <br />applicant ’s property. <br />Please be advised that the project is not authorized until the above has been submitted to me and <br />you have been notified of permit issuance from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed Distnct. All <br />requited exhibits must be submitted on or before July 15.1992. If these items are not received <br />before July 15, 1992 this permit application will be tabled.
