Mabusth, Building & Zoning Administrator <br />May 11, 1992 <br />Subject: #1679 William Miller, 2691 Casco Point Road <br />Variance ~ Continuation of Public Hearing <br />Status of Application <br />--.■mx. <br />l' , / ^ .r*' <br />f-'X- -"V- <br />r • "I*.. <br />;*• ■ <br />Application #1679 involved an after-the-fact variance <br />dealing with unauthorized structural improvements and expansion <br />of a gazebo/bathhouse located within the 0-75' setback area of <br />the property and a hardcover variance within the 75-250' setback <br />area for the proposed construction of a 22' x 26' detached garage <br />to replace the existing 14' x 22' garage. At the September 16, <br />1991 meeting of the Planning Commission, the application was <br />divided into two parts. The Planning Commission voted to approve <br />the variance for the improvement of the gazebo/bathhouse <br />structure and advised applicant the detached garage portion of <br />the application would be tabled pending applicant's submittal of <br />a revised plan that further reduces hardcover in the 75-250' <br />zone. At the October 14, 1991 meeting of the Council, Council <br />unanimously voted to table all action of the gazebo portion of <br />the application until the Planning Commission had completed the <br />review of the proposed garage improvement so cnat Council would <br />be able to review the comprehensive improvement of the project <br />and then determine the impact upon the ordinances.
