Copies of all notices of any public hearings to <br />consider variances, amendments, or conditional uses under this <br />section must be sent to the Commissioner of the Department of <br />Natural Resources and postmarked at least 10 days before the <br />hearings. Notices of hearing to consider proposed <br />subdivisions/plats must include copies of the subdivision/plat. <br />Upon final action by the City Council, a copy of approved <br />amendments and subdivisions/plats, and final decisions granting <br />variances or conditional uses under this section must be sent to <br />the Commissioner of the Department of Natural Resources and <br />postmarked within 10 days of final action. <br />Subd. 15. Zoning District Compliance with Minimum <br />Requirements. The zoning district standards of Chapter 10 of the <br />Orono Municipal Code currently comply with the lot size, lot width, <br />permitted use and conditional use standards set forth by the <br />Department of Natural Resources Shoreland Management Regulations, <br />MR 6120.2500 - 6120.3900. The following City of Orono zoning <br />districts are partially or fully located within the Shoreland <br />Overlay District: <br />LR-IA <br />LR-IB <br />LR-IC <br />LR-lC-1 <br />RR~1A <br />RR-IB <br />RR-lB-1 <br />RS <br />B-1 <br />B-2 <br />B-3 <br />B-4 <br />B-5 <br />'^'1 The following Orono zoning districts are also potentially <br />available for use within the shoreland areas: <br />■4j! '■'B-6 <br />PUD <br />R-IB <br />R-IA <br />Any future changes within the zoning districts listed <br />above shall meet the DNR regulations effective 7-3-89. <br />Subd. 16. Shoreland Overlay District Standards. The <br />Shoreland Overlay District Standards are in addition to the <br />requirements set forth in Chapter 10 for the various zoning <br />districts. In case of conflict, the most restrictive provision <br />applies. <br />A. Minimum Lot Area/Lot Width Standards. Minimum <br />lot area and lot width standards of the underlying zoning district <br />shall apply, with the following exceptions: <br />1. No lot within'1000 feet of a General <br />Development Lake and approved for duplex use per Section 10.20, <br />Subd. 3 (f) shall be less than 135 feet in width nor less than <br />26,000 square feet in area if riparian, nor less than 17,500 square <br />feet in area if non-riparian. <br />ORONO CC 376-9
