I'iJ '•*. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE <br />MINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING APPLICATION FOR EXEMPT PERMIT <br />OF THE ORONO pro FOR <br />A ONE DAY GAMBLING PERMIT <br />WHEREAS, tiie Orono PTO has sulmiitted an q>plication to conduct lawful <br />panbling activities; and <br />WHEREAS, die Orono PTO has proposed to conduct a one day gambling activity <br />(raffle) as part of its annual Mid-Winter FUn Fest at tM Orono Middle School on February 4,2006; <br />activity U«^»l <br />WHEREAS, the Orono PTO is required to obtain ^iproval of the one day gambling <br />die city in v^ch the activity will occur, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono has no objection to the conduct of lawful gambling by <br />the qipUcant, in accordance with law, at the designated location. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does <br />hereby qiprove die application of the Orono PTO to conduct a one day gambling acti vity (raffle) at <br />the Orono Middle School on Fdmiary 4,2006. <br />200s. <br />Adopted at a regular meeting of the Orono City Council this 28th day of November, <br />ATTEST: <br />Linda S.Vee, City Clok <br />Barbara A.
