1 <br />max <br />_»: j» ^. r <br />UPON MOTION by John Malone, seconded by Michele Kunz, the <br />LAKER/PIONEER was designated as the official publication of the <br />Orono School District. Motion carried. <br />UPON MOTION by John Malone, seconded by Mike Bash, the official <br />office of the clerk of the School Board will be the District <br />Office. Motion carried. <br />UPON MOTION by John Malone, seconded by Mike Bash, the renewal of <br />surety bonds for all enf>loyees was approved. Motion carried. <br />UPWI MOTION by Michele Kunz, seconded by John Malone, the firm of <br />Malloy, Karnowski, Radosevich & Co., P.A. was appointed as <br />auditors for the School District. Motion carried. <br />UPON MOTION by Mike Bash, seconded by John Malone, the Board <br />approved Karen Orcutt or Neal Lawson to lease, purchase, and <br />contract for goods and services within the budget pursuant to MN <br />Statute 123B.52 subd.2. Motion carried. <br />UPON MOTION by Mike Bash, seconded by John Malone, Board members <br />were appointed to committees for 2005-2006 as follows: <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Lawson reminded the Board that all school districts are <br />required to approve their health and safety program annually. Mr. <br />Lawson recommended approval. <br />UP(»I NOTION by John Malone, seconded by Michele Kunz, the Board of <br />Education reaffirmed the Health and Safety Program in compliance <br />with MN Statute. 123b.57. Notion carried. <br />Mr. Lawson presented a summary of the District's Long Range <br />Facilities and Technology Planning. An extensive amouiit of time <br />has been spent in the planning process, ihe Board entered into a <br />preliminary discussion on both these plans and will continue <br />discussions during their Board retreat on August 4, 2005. <br />The next meeting is August 22, 2005 <br />Adjournment <br />M
