following <br />'■-H <br />approved continued membership in the <br />organizations for the 2005-06 school year: <br />Association of Metropolitan School Districts <br />Center for Educational Performance Excellence <br />Formerly MN Academic Excellence Foundation <br />Metro Educational Cooperative Service Unit <br />Minnesota School Boards Association <br />Minnesota State High School League <br />West Metro Consortium of School Districts <br />declared its intention to develop projects which expand <br />and improve the educational programs of the District, and <br />said Board authorizes Dr. Karen Orcutt, Superintendent of <br />Schools or her designee, to execute and file application <br />for and in behalf of the school district, and otherwise to <br />act as its authorized representative in state and <br />federally funded programs and declared its intention to <br />comply with all of the requirements set forth in the <br />**Applicant Statement of Assurances*; <br />designated the Assistant Superintendent for Business as <br />the administrator to review all collateral obtained from <br />financial institutions to cover investments and bank <br />deposits; <br />authorized Aaron Ruhland to act as LEA (Local Educational <br />Agency) representative for Orono School District in <br />completing the application for funds as provided under <br />public law 107-110 for the 2005:06 school year; <br />approved the District Software Support Specialist contract <br />for 2005-06; <br />approved the Communication Coordinator's contract for <br />2005-07; <br />approved the bills as covered by vouchers 141952 through <br />142346 and office checks as covered bv vouchers 7283 <br />through 7290. <br />Motion carried. <br />SALE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION AID ANTICIPATION CERTIFICATES OF <br />INDEBTEDNESSt Mr. Lawson introduced Carolyn Drude from Ehlers & <br />Associates who provided the Board with information regarding the <br />sale of the certificates for the purpose of providing funds to <br />meet current expenditures of the District.
