ROLL <br />MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, October 24,200S <br />7:00 o'clock p.m. <br />COUNCllME^ <br />NOV 142005 <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />The Council met on the above mentioned date with the following members present: Acting Mayor <br />Sansevere; Council members Jim Murphy and Jim White; City Attorney Thomas Barrett; <br />Representing staff were City Administrator Ron Moorse, Planning Director Mike Gaffron, Planner <br />Melanie Curtis; Engineer Tom Kellogg, Public Service Director Greg Gappa, and Recorder Kiisti <br />Anderson. <br />Mayor Barbara Peterson and Commissioner Lili McMillan were absent. <br />Acting Mayor Sansevere called the meeting to order at 7:13 P.M, followed by the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. ApprovcfAnscMl <br />Items 8,12,13,14,15,16,17 and 18 were added to the Consent Agenda. <br />Marphy moved, Actlag Mayor Sansevere seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as <br />amended. Vote: Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />*2. REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING OF OCTOBER 10,2005 <br />Morphy moved. Acting Mayor Sansevere seconded, to approve the Miantes of October 10, <br />I, as snbmUted. VOTE: Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />PUBUC HEARING - 7:00 P.M. <br />3. CERTIFICATION OP DELINQUENT UTILinES AND GENERAL SERVICE FEES - <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5394 <br />Acting Mayor Sansevere opened the Public Hearing at 7:16 p.m. <br />Murphy asked if staff had noticed any deviatitm from the normal degree of delinquent paN-ments <br />Moorse stated that they were noticing a pretty typical .lumber of outstanding accounts, though a bit <br />fewer than the previous year. <br />White moved, Mnrphy seconded, adopting RESOLLTION NO. 5394, a Resolatioa proslding <br />for the coUcctloa of delinquent charges for the 2005 sewer and water utility services, the <br />sepde Inspection program, the rccycing program, the false alarms, developers iasprovement <br />fees, and other general service fees.
