MINUTES or THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MoMlayy October 10,2005 <br />7:00 o ’clock p.in. <br />ROLL <br />OiyQP <br />The Orono City Council met on the above-mentioned date with the following members present: Mayor <br />Barbara Peterson; Council Members Bob Sansevere, Jim Murphy, Jim White, and Lili McMillan; City <br />Attorney Rolfe Worden; Representing Staff were City Administrator Ron Moorse, Planning Director <br />Mike Gaf&on, Planners Janice Gundlach and Melanie Curtis; Engineer Tom Kellogg, Public Service <br />Director Greg Gappa, and Recorder Jackie Young. <br />Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />APPROVE/AMEND <br />Items 5,10,11,12,13,14 and IS were added to the Consent Agenda. <br />Marphy moved, White seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. <br />VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />*2. REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 26,2005 <br />Morphy moved. White seconded, to approve the minntes of the September 26,2005 City Connell <br />mcctiag as snhmlttcd. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />PRESENTATION <br />3. HENNEPIN COUNTY REGIONAL RAILROAD AUTHORITY (DAKOTA RAIL <br />CORRIDOR) - RESOLUTION NO. 5386 <br />Marcia Wilda and Jcjsica DeLatts, Hennepin County Regional Railroad Authority, and Linda Koblick. <br />Hennepin County Commissioner, were present. <br />Marcia Wilda. Hennepin County Regional Railroad Authority, addressed the City Council regarding <br />private encroachments onto the Dakota Rail Corridor right-of-way. Wilda indicated the HCRRA is in the <br />process of updating their policy regarding private use of the corridor nght-of-way and would like to gain <br />input from the public rsg^ing the policy. <br />PAGEl <br />■J
