Mark Wdch <br />3635 North Shore Drive <br />Orono, MN 55391 <br />'C/ - <br />X <br />Respectfully Submitted to City of Orono Planning Commission Members: <br />^ the o^r of the property at 3625 North Shore Drive, and neighbor to 3635 North <br />Shore Drive, I want to express my apposition to the potential granting of a variance for <br />the deck on top of 3635. <br />I r^tly completed the construction of my property and carefully followed the codes <br />^ rulM m ordw to build a "neighbor friendly" home. I strongly feel that it is important <br />that the houses in our neighborhood not only be aesthetically appealing, but also be <br />constructed under the proper rules.. .their deck is neither! <br />I also find the deck to an invasion of my privacy (see pictures). When the current <br />rrato and their gi^ts is on this deck, their voices caiiy so loudly that it sounds like <br />they re standing right next to you. I am also uncomfortable with someone having the <br />abiUty to sit up there and look at everything I’m doing in my yard.
