Council Packet of 05-03-05 <br />Application Summary: <br />The iq)plicant is requesting after-the-fact lake and side setback variances and a 0-75’ hardcover <br />variance to allow an existing roof top deck to remain 50’ from the lake and 9 ’ from the southwest lot <br />line on the roof of the existing home. <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />On April 18, 2005, Planning Commission voted 4-3 to recommend approval of the after-the-fact <br />variances in conjunction with removal of all portions of the existing grade-level deck that extend <br />lakeward of the average lakeshore setback (aj^roximately 140 s.f.). <br />Council Action of May 9,2005 <br />This application was reviewed at your May O"* meeting. At that time the Council granted approval of <br />the side, lake setback and hardcover variances in conjunction with removal of the portions of the <br />grade-level deck which extend past the average lakeshore setback line (140 s.f.). <br />Planning Staff Recommendation <br />Review the attached Resolution to assure that it reflects Council ’s decision. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Approve or amend the attached Resolution.
