Front yard setback variance to permit a front y ‘tback of 20’ when 35’ is normally <br />requir^ 25’ currently exists, and 25’ was appro • variance in 1995. <br />(The applicant has agreed to meet the Planning Commissto.. recommendation, which reduces the <br />fix>rtt yard setback variance request to a 25’ setback where 35’ is normally required and 25’ <br />currently exists and was approved by variance in 1995). <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />The Planning Commission voted 7-0 to deny the requested front yard setback variance of 20’ when <br />35’ is normally required based on the findings and reconunendations of the 1995 variance approval <br />permitting a setback of 25’. The Planning Commission stated they would be in favor of supporting a <br />ftont yard setback variance request at the current 25’ setback for living space above the existing <br />garage and also to construct an attached garage addition, with living space above, meeting a 25’ <br />setback to the front lot line and a 10’ side yard setback. <br />The applicant has indicated he will revise his proposed plans to conform to the Planning <br />Commission’s recommendation.
